A remarkable lack of pain! Did not feel the numbing injection at all. No discomfort during tooth extraction! It is now 36 hours after the procedure, and only a barely noticeable ache. A little more bleeding on the first day than I expected, but none today. Dr. Horne .knows what he is doing! Office staff was busy and cheerful. Thank you!!

Everyone there was so great. I regret not getting all of their names because they were all so sweet. I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and I was dreading my appointment because I’m a baby about pain. They could tell I was a nervous wreck (not that they had to guess, I probably said it 1000 times) and everyone was so empathetic, kind, and knowledgeable. They will tell you exactly what to expect, as will the doctor. They offered sedation (which I didn’t even think was a thing anymore) and I can’t express how grateful I am that I had that option. The doctor did great, no stitches, and at the time of writing this, it’s been exactly 24 hours, and the pain has virtually subsided. They’re a great team, they’re great at what they do and I’m so glad I was referred hereThank you so much!

Had my wisdom tooth removed that was lying entirely flat and embedded in the jaw entirely. Doctor was amazingly good! Talked you through the whole procedure (assuming you’re awake). Went much better than anticipated!UPDATE: ended up being in pain for 2 months. Got dry socket, realized the tech giving me instructions to go home with (swish with listerine after every meal) not only gave me terrible advice that was very painful but also gave me a dry socket and then noted that at the end of almost 2 months a residual piece of my tooth came out (very obviously a small sliver of the top of the tooth that was taken out, gums pushed it out slowly until I was able to floss it out and with that last piece out the pain finally fully went away). Pain was so bad I ate purée and soft things only for that entire time and my jaw would still literally pulsate and quiver with pain despite the meds. Dry socket is one thing, but inconsistent care directions and a residual portion of the tooth remaining is another. Oh and that’s the only thing I was sent home with originally- directions to rinse after meals and take Tylenol #3 for the first couple days and then my own Tylenol and acetaminophen (had to ask for the Tylenol #3 prescription too). No special oral rinse, antibiotics, none of that as he said he usually doesn’t think his patients need it. And I did go back after the pain was too bad to work (after several weeks) and he told me it was a dry socket and gave me some paste to help fill it, he didn’t do a thorough search, just quick questions and glance. Otherwise, very kind doctor. In retrospect I should have gone to a doctor about it earlier, but I called many times within that timeframe to the office who kept gaslighting me that this wasn’t anything to worry about despite me telling them (only NP/PA or whoever answered, never doctor) all the symptoms and severity and despite it being several weeks and then almost 2 months and still being painful. But who knows, maybe you won’t have the same experience 🤷🏻‍♀️

We recently visited Lonestar Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons for a consultation with Dr. Horne for my son’s wisdom teeth removal.Everyone in the office made the experience so nice, his team and front office were helpful with paperwork, insurance coverage, speaking with Dr. Horne reassured my son that this was going to be a positive experience. We left feeling confident about the procedure. Many thanks!

Was referred to them by my dentist for a tooth extraction. Called to get more information on how it would work, how much it would cost, etc. and the person who talked to me on the phone was beyond rude. They clearly don't need new clients, and clearly don't seem to care about getting new clients. Absolutely awful customer service experience. Stay away.

Got my wisdom teeth removed here. The nice lady quoted me per tooth on a Thursday, got them removed the following Tuesday. It was much less than some other offices quoted me also. So much less expensive in fact that I kinda am questioning the first dentist office’s honesty. Why was this guy able to do the job for thousandS less? It was seriously 2k less to come here. Same teeth I don’t know why driving 12 minutes made such a difference to me but it did. I wish I could remember/spell his name, but Dr Z. (Eastern-European Name, I assume) was an absolute professional. Took him about 30 minutes for all four teeth, barely felt a thing. My appointment was at 1140, was walking out at 1240. About two minutes of poking with the syringe per tooth, and less than 3 minutes of pulling per tooth. I’ve seriously stubbed my toe and hurt myself more than this operation. The girls upfront were nice and a “vibe” as the kids say. I wish everything medical was as simple and easy as this.

Wonderful experience given the dire situation of my broken tooth. Dr. Shedlosky was personal, professional, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. My mouth felt great even after the numbness wore off. And specialist Betty was on top of things - supportive, relaxing, my nerves were a bit high a first and her confidence and professionalism and reassurance during the procedure was critical to Dr. Shed’s success I am sure!!!!
