Completely ruined my teeth after braces. Pressured my mother to sign a contract for me to get unsolicited braces at a “discounted” price but was above market rate without any real reason (at the time, I was a minor).Unproctored dentist then shaved down one of my front teeth without asking, leaving me to have the left side of my front teeth significantly shaved down. Went to three dentists and orthodontists after this doctor and each of them showed me step by step how they ruined my teeth. My lower row of teeth now face outwards, making me look like a neanderthal, despite having braces for three years which according to them “fixed my uneven smile.”Many of the younger dentists would throw around tools between patients without cleaning them. Front desk recipients were incredibly rude. Thanks for nothing.

The actual work here seems fine, and Dr. Moradi is always super friendly. Front desk has also been friendly when I've spoke with them. That said, the place is a logistical mess. Three times now I've waited upwards of an hour, only being seen each time after telling the front desk to reschedule because I need to be home for meetings. I'm a reasonable person - patients and appointments run late, short staffing, mistakes get made, etc. - these things are understandable. But the common theme has been a lack of respect for patient's time, accountability, and communication. The first two times (which were 1 hour waits) were nearly identical situations - after waiting for 30 min and asking for an update, they rushed and I was brought to a dental chair. Presumably so patients think they are being prioritized or that the wait is over. Both times I was then asked to sit tight, then waited another 30 minutes with a dental bib on before I got up and told the front desk I needed to reschedule at this point. The front desk didn't realize I hadn't been seen, so the walkie talkies came out and they rushed again to find the doctor/tech. In both of these situations (after waiting for an hour and needing to be the one to remind staff that I'm in a room waiting) I've been nothing but respectful, letting front desk know the situation and expressing mild annoyance, but the vibe you receive from other staff is that you're an inconvenience or a whiny patient to them for having followed up about the wait. No communication or a single apology, or coordination between schedules/front desk and service. The third time I waited for 30 minutes to find out they glossed over my name on the clipboard and never checked me in(sigh). This time the orthodontics manager (?) was very apologetic as she remembered me from the previous visit, but overall I would not recommend if you're looking for timeliness or reliability in service.

Was marketed as just a routine cleaning covered by insurance and I ended up getting a full on unsolicited dissertation about braces. Wouldn't let me leave until I agreed to hear more about it and prices being offered were a "must decide right now" to get the reduced pricing. I insisted on getting things in writing to confirm what a scam this place is and surprise, they never sent anything. 2 hours for a routine cleaning and a lecture in a jail cell, not my cup of tea. Never went back.

Surgeon didn’t show up for my surgery, I didn’t find out until 10 min after I was scheduled to start. The billing department overcharged me and each time I try calling they are ‘in on a different day’ or ‘out’ (have been trying for almost 2 months). The hygienists room isn’t very sanitary, the patients chairs are very close to each other with no dividers and screaming children with no masks. Very sketchy. Go somewhere else.

I have to get braces again! Doctor Moradi pushed my teeth out and now they are not aligned. I bite my tongue when I eat and it bleeds. Going to a new doc who actually monitors the move. Also, consults with me on the work. I had headaches from the misaligned teeth he created, and he changed my smile for the worst. The changed smile I can deal with but not being able to chew properly, and bleeding from biting my back tongue. I never had these types of issues. I would not recommend Dr. Moradi. Very upset.

This is a shady "car-dealership" type dentist clinic that tries to find work when there isn't any to be done. I've been to many dentists in the Westside and this is the only place where I've felt like I'm being sold dental care like it's a used car. They scan your insurance and if you have unused credit for an orthodontic treatment (mouthguard, retainer) they will pressure you into using it on the first visit. They gave me a retainer to "fix" the alignment of my front teeth but I've consulted with other dentists since then and not only are retainers NOT for fixing alignment (that's what braces are for) but my front teeth are perfectly aligned.

I've been going to this practice since I was 25, I'm now 66. The prices were reasonable for the most part, but you never know which dentist will actually be doing the work needed. I like & trust Dr. Korda, but her speciality is in restorations...crowns, bridges & fillings. I need an extraction. I'm scared of going to any dentist, but more so if I have no idea how a "stranger" is going to treat me. Today in the office on Washington, Dr. Agaki opened a few years ago, I was seen by three different dentists...none of which will actually be doing the work. I went in for one extraction...one! I get in, x-rays taken & then I was told "this tooth needs to come out, that tooth needs to come out, two others need crowns, a couple of fillings & cleaning. My insurance isn't the best, capping at $1500/year. Someone, I have no idea who this person was,(I later found out his name is Frank) begins telling me all sorts of things, including the need for a bone graft costing $700 that won't be covered by my insurance. It sounds like they're prepping for a $3000 implant. ($3000 is the base price & doesn't include other fees. With those extra fees, it works out to $3500 or more for a single tooth) I was told a retainer-type appliance would be used to push a front tooth into a better position, provided I wear it for the remainder of my life, with an attached tooth to replace the molar that needs extracting, with an attached bite guard. I have severe chronic pain caused by nerve damage & noticed I've been clenching my teeth. Undoubtedly the reason for the broken tooth. Then, another person comes in and starts talking about a partial plate, with three teeth attached. Why the differing stories? I also had no pain going in, but now I do. It's from being picked at by a heartless dentist, after I'd asked him not to & stressed "JUST THE ONE BROKEN TOOTH IS ALL I'M INTERESTED IN HAVING DONE". Apparently, my words fell on deaf ears. I'm terrified of dentists & with good reason...as evidenced by the picking at a tooth I'd asked not be picked at. ALL work I have done, including cleanings, require local anesthesia & nitrous. My anxiety level skyrocketed, even though I'd taken a tranquilizer before leaving my house. I asked if nitrous was still available. Why, yes it is...at a cost of $200 per 30 minutes. Insurance won't pay for that either. Why the price for gas is so high, I don't know. Maybe they're trying to weed out those who actually need it vs those who just want to get high? I'm not even sure which office I'll be going to...the one on Venice? The one on Washington? Guess I'll have to call to get some answers before my appointment on Friday morning.*Dr. Moradi, I've been trying to reach you for three days. I don't know if your staff has told you or not, but I know you read these reviews. My phone number is on file at your office. I'm not interested in speaking with Monica or Avi. TY

Dr.Moradi is amazing! He is genuinely nice and accommodates everyone! Honestly the best place to go, that being said I didn’t like the service that was provided from the front desk in particular to the guy who comes and charges you.. he has no ethic very blunt and not at all nice. However when he is in front of the dr his tone changes. That’s unacceptable. Need to hire a new personal for that position who likes their job and is ready to provide great customer service.

I LOVE MR. MORADI HE IS AMAZING AND SO SWEET TO HIS PATIENTS! I’ve been going to him since I was a senior in HS and he’s been a sweetheart to me every since. I will have to agree with the comment below...the front desk customer service is not the best from the woman who handles orthodontics to the man who handles the billing for regular dental services I believe his name is frank ..very rude, blunt and impatient (literally everything Bernice commented below is true). I walked in the office to get a cleaning done along with other services and when someone sent frank to speak to me he came off as he didn’t want to explain fully what procedure I needed more so was in a rush to find out if I was willing to pay for it..didn’t like the way he didn’t explain it so I refused services ....that made me leave the office feeling very uncomfortable because of him (he comes off as if he’s better than people it’s a really weird feeling). Frank is apart of regular dental services I believe he only handles the billing part if I’m not mistaken and moradi covers orthodontist ..so as far as ortho goes service and work is absolutely amazing!! I love him and I refer anybody who needs braces to go to him. Saw the comment below and thought I’d add my two cents about the amazing service with ortho and horrible customer service with regular dental service

This office is def not a regular dental office which is a very good thing! Everyone is very nice and laid back. I came in for a dental exam and left with retainers by the orthodontist. The office is extremely accommodating in regards to payment and payment plans too. Thank you to all the front desk girls who treated me with so much respect and the orthodontist who had the biggest smile on his face. He truly cares about his patients and it shows!
