My initial consultation with Dr Rodriguez made it easy for me with my decision to finally undergo with a series of implants on my lower mouth, 3+2. He started the 3 implants last year and now, I’m with the last 2, which are still in the healing process for the permanent crown placement and they’re nicely healing. I have to honestly say that, I am grateful and very satisfied with the type of care and the experience I received from Dr Rodriguez since the onset of my treatment. He went above and beyond and, by far have exceeded my expectations on how he handled me with precision and care. He did my implants with ease and, in no time plus his experience on his craft, makes him the doctor of choice. The whole staff were very nice and accommodating and Daniel, his assistant was indeed thorough and experienced as well, as with the doctor. I highly recommend Dr Rodriguez. Thank you, Doc!

Not prepared for my visit. Lost the files and information I had sent two weeks in advance and I had to resend it several times. Dr. Pen was printing out my information before and during my visit. Dr. Pena has a very thick accent, and speaks quickly, is not easy to understand and has poor command of the english language.Dr. Pena also has an ego problem and difficulty owning his mistakes, preferring to blame the patient. If you are looking for the best periodontist in Los Angeles, look no further than Dr. Otomo. Her genuine warmth and caring for her patience, together with her expertise and dedication to her field (ask her how many prestigious dental boards she sits on!) quite literally put her in a category by herself. I (and my gums!) are so thankful that my dentist referred me to Dr. Otomo!

I met Dr Joan Otomo-Corgel while bringing my client to see her. While there I showed her my front gums that had amalgam leaking from very old post & core with crowns & multiple bone graft procedures. My dentist sent my X-rays to her office and she examined my whole mouth to advise me & my dentist what she suggests as treatment options. Meeting Dr Otomo- Corgel gave me great peace of mind about next steps. Once that part of my mouth is tackled, I would definitely come back for an implant consultation in another part of my mouth! Her assistant Marcello was very welcoming & thorough with my intake & exam. What a blessing 😁

I went in today for a consultation and had a great experience. I forgot the receptionist name but she was super nice and welcoming. I am terrified of going to the dentist but Dr. Rodriguez was kind and patient with me while I had a mini breakdown. (so sorry about that!) His assistant Danny and Mariano were also very kind. I have my surgery appointment in August and although I am nervous, I know I'll be in good hands.

Friendly staff, but they knocked out a tooth while performing a very aggressive cleaning. I stopped the tech three times and told her that she was putting too much pressure and I could feel movement, but she ignored me until she literally snapped my tooth. They quickly wrapped up and sent me out with my mouth still gushing blood. The cost of the implant was astronomical, and took months of prep work. They completely messed up my mouth and never offered an apology or any recompense.

I've been coming to PIHP for a few years now and from the first moment I called till this day , it is always a pleasurable, and professional experience. I have had deep cleaning as well as oral surgery performed here and everything is always well explained, in person as well as on paper. Great communication from the whole team. I ALMOST look forward to coming there!

Having myself practiced dentistry for 53 years, I was most impressed with Dr. Corgel. Explained every procedure before doing it, made sure I was in no pain and was very gentle.
