Depending on your health insurance, especially on Medicaid, you will be put to the back of the list for the approval of braces/ retainers. My daughter was a patient there, and we were told that she needs braces but her teeth had to get straighten first. After a few visits, she got her spacers. But after weeks went by, the spacers were loosening and cut the inside of her mouth and fell out on its own. I asked Dr. Cooperman about it and he brushed it off, with saying that it’s fine. After that was said and done, her teeth were finally straightened enough to start the process of getting her braces. We came a number of visits for Dr. Cooperman to only clean her teeth and take X rays. It’s been almost 2 years and my daughter still hasn’t gotten her braces.Today was her last appointment, after I finally confronted Dr. Cooperman, and he told me that he never sent her x rays out to get approved for her braces. And then laughed with the other staff about my feelings on this.If you’re not on the right tax bracket, in his eyes, you will get discriminated.

It saddens me to see the care that is given to patients at this location become so substandard. I drove all the way from Boston to have my retainers fixed. When I arrived, the doctor seem less than enthusiastic about doing it for me she tried to charge me 175 to fix it. When I insisted that she replace the bar, they informed me that that would be an additional charge. It now feels like they are prioritizing money over patient care. I give 0 stars for Service and 1 star for Professionalism! This place is just sad!!!!

I am updating my review. I am giving this place a two start. They are not patients' center and it is all about making the money and getting you out. Both of my sons are receiving service here. My youngest son finish his treatment and they provided him a final pair of retainers. A week after receiving it the bottom retainer broke. I contacted them and explained. Their solution was that I have pay $200 at that moment for a new retainers. I thought this was unfair because he has just finish his treatment. Spent months trying to get them to eliminate the fee. We got a consult for them to tell me that so much time has passed and now the cost is about $500 for a pair of new retainers. I spoke to the owner and top odonatologist (Dr. Romao ). She showed no empathy or concern on how this was handled. Apparently, there was no history of all my phone calls with them during the time raising my concerns. So be careful and make sure you check your retainers when finishing your treatment. My son never had any problem or broke any aligners during his treatment. I am sure this retainer was defective or damage. I am going to pay $600 the replacement that the outcome.
